Creating and uploading documents/folders
Task 1: Create a folder, Upload an existing file, Create a new OneDrive Word Document
1. Create a new folder
2. Upload an existing file into that folder (or drag-and-drop a file into the folder)
a. Provide participants a Word document to upload to their One Drive. This file will be used to
show Immersive Reader in Word online.
3. Create a new Word Document in that folder

Get link / Invite others/ Shared with
Task 2: OneDrive Collaboration and Sharing
1. Select a OneDrive file (Word or PPT) or create a new OneDrive file (Word or PPT)
2. Share the document with a partner and select Can Edit
3. Open your email and look for the shared email from your partner
4. Open the file and edit
5. Open OneDrive and the file shared with your partner (in Shared with Me file)

Notice: default share settings to Can Edit. You can change to "Can View” by clicking Change

Task 4: Immersive Reader in Word Online
1. Open the Word document uploaded to your personal One Drive
2. Select Open in Word Online at the top left
Notice: you have Edit in Word rights
3. Select the View tab and Immersive Reader
4. Review the features in Immersive Reader (text size, background, voice speed, nouns, etc.)
Caution: Do not use the Syllables feature. It doesn’t always break the words in the correct place
